Boise, ID – September 19, 2023 –Margo Anderson, Faces of Hope Foundation’s attorney, honored as an Idaho Business Review Leader in Law.
“Margo’s knowledge and compassion are evident to all those who interact with her,” said Paige Dinger, Executive Director of Faces of Hope. “We are extremely proud of Margo for receiving such a prestigious honor. Her dedication to abuse victims and her deep knowledge of the law make her a true asset to Faces of Hope Foundation.”
Anderson, who piloted the legal aid program at Faces of Hope, has been practicing law for 11 years. As the on-staff attorney at Faces of Hope, she provides legal advice to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, elder abuse, stalking, and human trafficking. Anderson focuses on civil protection orders, victim impact statements, and advice on other court matters, including divorce, custody, evictions, and name changes. In 2022, Anderson provided legal support to 407 clients as they navigated their path forward.
Anderson collaborates with the The University of Idaho College of Law Family Justice Clinic to provide a warm hand off between clients who need legal representation and have a more complex case. Students in their third year at U of I are granted a limited license to handle all aspects of a client’s case.
Anderson graduated with a B.A. in Communication and Political Science from the University of Washington in 2005 and her J.D. from the University of Idaho College of Law in 2012. She served as a Deputy Prosecutor in both Nez Perce and Payette Counties prior to joining a private practice in Boise, where she was the Supervising Attorney.
“With my background as a prosecutor and experience working with victims of violence and abuse, Faces of Hope has been the perfect place for me to really help people; to talk to people about what they need, what their rights are, what they can do – instead of what they CAN’T do,” Anderson said.
Thanks to Anderson, Faces of Hope Foundation is here for every victim when they need care.
